Under the slogan “Do not call me special”, at Youth Center Belgrade, held from 21st to 23th may (hall “Americana”) Third International Film Festival for and by People with Disabilities BOSIFEST. The organizator was Hendi Center Koloseum.

Films that were shown at third BOSIFEST, Belgrade International Film Festival for and by People with Disabilities, caused extraordinary attention of the media and public. During the three days of festival from 21-23. may, the large number of visitors had a chance to see around 40 feature and documentary films from United Kingdom, France, Netherlands, Italy, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, China, Africa, Israel and also from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. In the selection there were some of the best short and feature films witch authors are people with disability and films that are dealing with position, rights and achievements of people with disabilities.

The selector od BOSIFEST was Oleg Novkovic, film director. Decision about awards will be made by jury consists of: Svetislav Goncic, actor; Aleksandar Gajsek, journalist; Darijan Mihajlovic, director.

GRAND PRIX of BOSIFEST went to film “Necessary Games” directed by Sophie Hyde from Australia, and Best director plaque was awarded to the film “Step up!” by Tamas Wormser from Canada and for the Best screenplay to the film “Flying Anne” by Catherine van Campen from Netherland. The Audience award went to film “Tihi” by Marko Cvejic.

The festival was supported by Ministry of labour an social policy, Municipality Stari grad an Savski venac, Touristic organization of Belgrade, Youth Center Belgrade and Sluzbeni glasnik.
